Homestyle Boarding was formed in 1994 after its founders, Michele and Drew Delgross, discovered there was a need from pet owners to have their dogs taken care of in an environment other than the typical "kennel" setting (i.e. cement pads, chain link fence, etc...)
Starting in their own home & backyard, they developed a long lasting relationship with local pet owners and now have boarded hundreds of local pets - including second and third generations of owners' pets with their trademark "Homestyle Care". They've even boarded pets from as far away as Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New York - either from past owners who have moved, or from their referrals!
Pet State University & the Animal Training School started as an extension of Michele & Drew's already professional careers as senior animal trainers and supervisors at Sea World, where they have a combined 36yrs. in the marine mammal field (they've worked in SanDiego, Orlando, and here in Aurora, Ohio).
